Old Fort: Purana Quila
Old Fort is also known as Purana Quila. In the list of travel to visit in Delhi, Purana Quila is one of the most ancient destination of the city. Build in 1538 by the Mughal kings Sher Shah Suri, Purana Quila is one of the ancient forts of the Capital Delhi and is a beguiling historical site beholding the royal history of the city. The building is almost in a five-mile area and there are three door gates to enter in the fort and also a canal nourished by River Yamuna. Being one of the oldest place of the city, Purana Quila gets a primary place in the journey of travelers exploring the beauties of Delhi.

Tip:
Must enjoy boating there. Still cameras are permitted but charges are there for those taking video cameras in the fort. Beware of the mosquitoes during the late afternoon here and although the hours of daylight are suitable, keep your ointments along to keep save yourself from mosquito bites.
